This project in the Brookland neighborhood included the renovation of an existing 2,800 square foot retail space and new construction of a 16-unit residential component. The retail renovation transformed an auto body shop into a 7-11 retail space, including partial demolition and expanding of the slab footprint. The residential portion is made up of eight 2-bed/2-bath apartments, and eight 2-bed/2.5-bath two-story flats. The construction materials are wood frame and stucco with cedar and HardiePanel siding.
